About the Project
I was commissioned by the Ironbridge Gorge Museum to illustrate a 4.4m x 4.4m map of the Ironbridge Gorge area as it would have been in 1901.
The map focuses on the Ironbridge itself and the river, but also features other points of interest as well lots of animals, trees, people and boats from the period.
The map is an interactive exhibit in the Enginuity site and challenges children to design a way for storybook characters to cross the River Severn.
